Representatives from Veterans Honor Flights are seeking donors to provide trips for Southern Illinois Veterans.

The organization hopes to be able to fly World War II, Korean and Vietnam war veterans from the Williamson County Airport – newly named Veterans Airport of Southern Illinois – to Washington DC to see the war monuments.

It costs $65,000 to send 20 veterans on the trip – and the organization hopes to get its first one together by April.
