SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner has overturned seven executive orders former Governor Pat Quinn issued in his final week in office.

The Republican published his own executive order Friday repealing action taken by Quinn — including three on the defeated Democrat’s final day in office.

They included a dictum requiring governors to disclose their income tax returns by May. Quinn criticized his wealthy opponent in the fall campaign for not disclosing his taxes until weeks before the campaign.

Rauner spokesman Lance Trover says many of Quinn’s final actions were “to settle political scores” and not to benefit the public.

One Quinn order required a $10 minimum wage to state vendors’ employees.

Trover pledged Rauner would decide individually whether to reinstate any of Quinn’s orders.
