Another wrongful death lawsuit has been filed in regards to the case of Pravin Varughese. This time, a State Trooper is the one being sued.

Surveillance video appears to show a State Trooper after he pulled over for a truck stopped on the side of the road. The driver of that truck says he was giving Varughese a ride when the two got into a fight, and Varughese ran into the woods shortly thereafter.

The lawsuit, which was filed by Lovely Varughese, Pravin’s mother, seeks $100,000 in damages from the State Trooper, claiming the Trooper could have done more to save him. The Trooper insists that he never saw Varughese.
