Herrin, Ill. – A former Herrin Police chief has passed away.

The Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home says Thomas Horn passed away at a hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on Monday. He was 72 years old.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m.
