Marion, Ill. – A man from Herrin has been sentenced to six years in prison for leading police on a chase and ramming two squad cars.

The Williamson County State’s Attorney’s office says 28-year-old Victor Shea pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal damage to government property and in exchange, four other charges were dropped.

Shea was accused of leading Herrin and Energy police on a chase in July. He was arrested after being shot by officers with a stun gun, authorities said.
