Murphysboro, Ill. – A man reportedly helped cleaned up a bar he is accused of vandalizing.

23-year-old Cody Augustus Cox of Murphysboro was arrested Monday on charges he vandalized the Brews Brothers Taproom in Murphysboro early Saturday morning.

KFVS reports Cox turned himself in Monday because he felt bad that he committed such crimes while he was drunk. He told the TV station he also vandalized his own car that night.

KFVS reports Cox lived above the bar. He is out on bond.
