West Frankfort, Ill. – A man from West Frankfort faces arson charges for setting multiple fires at the Anna Gray High-Rise.

24-year-old Christopher Evrard of West Frankfort was arrested Thursday for the fires, which occurred July 26. Crews were called to the apartment complex in West Frankfort five times for six fires in the trash chute, laundry room and stairwell.

The Daily American in West Frankfort reports Evrard was a resident of the Anna Gray High-Rise at the time of the fires.

Evrard is charged with one count of aggravated arson and one count of arson.
