Mt. Vernon, Ill. – A funeral will be held Saturday for a teenager who died after he went jogging.

Jefferson County Coroner Eddie Jo Marks says 16-year-old Dakota Mitchem had trouble breathing and collapsed when he went out for a jog Wednesday morning in Mt Vernon. Toxicology reports are pending.

Funeral Services for Mitchem will be at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion Saturday at 2 p.m. Visitation begins at noon.
