Fairfield, Ill. – A teacher from Wayne County faces federal charges on accusations of secretly videotaping girls.

43-year-old Timothy Going, a math and track coach at Fairfield High School, was indicted last week in federal court with attempted sexual exploitation of a minor and possession of visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

Going was arrested in May after school custodians found a video camera in the girl’s locker room at Fairfield High. He also faces similar charges from an incident at a motel in St. Clair County.

Going will next appear in court on the St. Clair County Charges July 11. He’ll be in court again on the federal charges July 21 in East St. Louis.
