A break-in at the First Baptist Church in Anna resulted in two church workers being sent to the hospital. The break-in happened yesterday, and appears to have been a robbery attempt.
The two workers, both women in their late 60's were found by the pastor and said to have had serious injuries.
Both women were taken to Union County Hospital in Anna and then flown to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
This is the latest of several break-ins at churches in Union County over the past few weeks.
