Early Thursday morning, Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 100 block of Maes Rd, Murphysboro.
The caller reported a female suspect entered her home without permission. The suspect, identified as 29 year old Trenell M. Davis of Murphysboro, reportedly was pouring gasoline on Davis’ estranged boyfriend, as well as all over the house and was looking for a lighter to ignite the fuel. Davis fled the prior to deputies arriving.
Further investigation revealed there were four small children present during the altercation. The Fire Department was summoned to the residence to stabilize the scene.
Davis was located at her place of residence and taken into custody for Home Invasion, Domestic Battery and Endangering Life or Health of a Child.
