In Saline County, two people face jail time for meth crimes.
51-year-old Joseph Stefko of Harrisburg pleaded guilty last week to a felony count of possessing meth. The State’s Attorney’s office says Stefko will serve 10 years in jail, a longer sentence than usual because of his criminal history.
39-year-old Amanda Cheeck of Eldorado pleaded guilty to two counts of purchasing a meth precursor. She will see five years in prison, a sentence the State’s Attorney’s office says is also longer due to Cheeck’s criminal history.
