Man Sentenced To 10 Years For Being 'Habitual' Criminal

In Jackson County, a man will see 10 years in prison for being an armed habitual criminal.

The Jackson County State’s Attorney’s office says 53-year-old Wilson Franklin was arrested in July while police were investigating a prowler call and found Franklin in possession of a handgun. He was previously convicted of multiple felonies for burglaries and domestic battery.

Franklin will be credited with 190 days time served.
