In Franklin County, a man is injured after a crash and the driver is accused of driving drunk.
Police say the crash happened around 11:15 p.m. Monday night near 7726 Main Street. The driver, Joseph Nuss Jr. of Christopher, is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Police say his car went off the road, became airborne and struck two trees before catching on fire.
His passenger, 26-year-old Daniel Gollhuir of Christopher, suffered major injuries. Nuss refused treatment at the scene.
