Police Investigate Multiple Incidents On Halloween Thursday



CARBONDALE POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING MULTIPLE INCIDENTS FROM HALLOWEEN THURSDAY.
 
POLICE SAY A VICTIM WAS ROBBED AT GUNPOINT ON THE INTERSECTION OF SOUTH ROUTE 51 AND SOUTH ILLINOIS AVENUE AROUND 10 A.M. THE VICTIM HAD CAR TROUBLE AND WAS ATTACKED BY TWO SUSPECTS.
 
POLICE SAY ONE MAN WAS DESCRIBED AS A BLACK MALE, 20-25 YEARS OLD, BETWEEN SIX-FOOT-TWO AND SIX-FOOT-FOUR, 200 POUNDS WITH A TATTOO ON HIS HAND.
 
THE OTHER IS A BLACK MALE AROUND THE SAME AGE, SIX-FEET-TALL WITH A SLENDER BUILD, STRAIGHT BLACK HAIR AND A BEARD. HE ALSO WALKS WITH A LIMP.
 
POLICE ARE ALSO INVESTIGATING A CHARGE OF AGGRAVATED BATTERY AND MOB ACTION. THEY SAY SOMEONE WAS BATTERED BY SEVERAL UNKNOWN SUSPECTS ON THE 1100 BLOCK OF EAST GRAND AVENUE AROUND 10:15 P.M. CAUSING MINOR INJURIES.

ONE SUSPECT IS A WHITE MALE, SLIGHTLY SHAVEN WITH A MUSCULAR BUILD. ANOTHER SUSPECT IS A WHITE MALE, AROUND SIX FEET TALL WITH BLONDE HAIR.

IN A SEPARATE INCIDENT, POLICE SAY A HOME ON THE 700 BLOCK OF EAST PARK STREET WAS BROKEN IN TO SOMETIME BETWEEN THURSDAY AND FRIDAY AT NOON.
