In Williamson County, a man is charged with sexually assaulting a disabled woman at a facility he worked at.
Darrell Walker appeared in court yesterday on the charges of sexual assault and sexual misconduct. The 55-year-old woman he is accused of sexually assaulting was under the care of ‘Our Directions’ in Herrin.
Walker faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted. Walker is being held on $200,000 bond and has been ordered to not have any contact with the victim.
Walker was also a football coach at Herrin Youth Sports, but officials there say he is no longer affiliated with the program.
