Prosecutors get more time in Blagojevich Appeal

A federal appellate court has given prosecutors more time to prepare in former Gov. Rod Blagojevich's appeal of his corruption convictions.

The original due date for the prosecution’s brief was Oct. 21. But Friday, they asked for more time and were given until November 4.

Blagojevich filed the appeal in July, asking the appellate court to toss his convictions or at least reduce his 14-year prison sentence.
