Woman Dies After Lying In Street

In Randolph County, a woman lying on the street was struck and killed by a motorist Sunday night.
Police say 60-year-old Pamela Marsolek was lying in the intersection of Butler and North Illinois Streets in Tilden when she was hit by a car, driven by 66-year-old Patricia Hood of Coulterville.
Police say they aren’t sure why Marsolek was in the street, but they did say they suspect alcohol was involved.
Autopsy and toxicology reports are pending in the case and no charges have been filed.
