Former Police Chief Wants Bail Reduced

Former Hurst Police Chief Ron Harvel will ask a Williamson County Judge to reduce his bail in a hearing Monday.
Harvel’s bail is set at $10,000 cash bail on charges he violated an order of protection for his estranged wife.
Police say Harvel texted his wife and then was found walking near her home with a loaded handgun on Friday night.
10 firearms, ammunition and a sword were found in his vehicle, which was parked a block away.
