In Franklin County, a woman is in jail after police say she faked a benefit for the “Justice for Molly,” campaign.
50-year-old Donna Restivo was arrested Monday on charges of deceptive practices. Police say she advertised and hosted a garage sale with the proceeds going towards the “Justice for Molly,” fund. They’re an advocacy group related to the death of Molly Young in 2012.
However, police say she never made any contact with the group and no money was ever donated.
She was bonded out of Franklin County Jail.
