Harrisburg Woman Faces Mail Fraud Charges

A Harrisburg woman is accused of bilking about $500,000 in Social Security and veterans benefits from would-be recipients.
Authorities say 51-year-old Terri DeNeal carried out a scheme to defraud the federal government while serving as a representative for federal aid recipients who were unable to handle their own finances because of health reasons from January 2005 through May 2011.
The felony charge of mail fraud is punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Online court records don't show whether DeNeal has an attorney. She does not have a listed home telephone number.
