Quinn Supports Obama's Decision To Ask Congress About Syria

When it comes to U.S. involvement in Syria, Gov. Pat Quinn says he agrees with President Barack Obama's approach.

Obama says he'll seek congressional approval for military strikes against the Assad regime. He's trying to rally support.
Quinn told reporters Sunday after a Labor Day weekend event in Chicago that he trusts Obama.

The Chicago Democrat is making stops at Labor Day events Monday like his 2014 Democratic challenger, former White House chief of staff Bill Daley.

Daley told The Associated Press Sunday that he agrees with Obama's decision to take the matter to Congress. He says Obama has been criticized for not taking action and now it's time for him to act.

Daley says people are asking about Syria, but there's a lot of conflict with how they feel.
