Raoul Won't Run for Governor

State Senator Kwame Raoul says he won't be on the ballot for governor next year.

The Chicago Democrat has been weighing a run for months and had boosted his fundraising.

Raoul said Thursday he is focused on his role as chairman of a legislative conference committee that is working on Illinois' pension crisis.

Former White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley is challenging Gov. Pat Quinn in the Democratic primary.
