Stolen Car Crashes Into Police Car

In Williamson County, two men are in custody after a stolen car crashed near the VA Medical Center Wednesday morning.
The crash happened near Commander Drive and W. Main Street in Marion around 9:30 a.m. No injuries were reported, and the names of the two men have not been released.

Police say the stolen car ran out of gas, so the two men were pushing it up a hill on Commander Drive when they noticed police and fled the scene. They were apprehended a short distance later, but not before the car, in neutral, began to roll towards Main Street. A local deputy put his car in the way to stop it.
The car they drove was reported stolen in Mount Vernon, Indiana. Police say the car is one of three stolen from a car dealership in the area. Charges are pending against the two.
