Tobacco Shop Employee Faces On Drug Charges

In Franklin County, a woman faces drug charges after an investigation into the Smoke Break tobacco shop.
30-year-old Erin Williams of Mt. Vernon is a store clerk at the shop, and she was arrested on four counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a church. St. Joseph Catholic Church is roughly 230 feet away from the shop in Benton.

The Smoke Break was closed Friday by police, but they would not comment on why. The Smoke Break was investigated for selling synthetic drugs last year.
Williams is free on $2,000 bond.
