The Zimmerman Verdict and Concealed Carry

Chicago pastors say George Zimmerman's acquittal in a Florida courtroom and Illinois' new concealed carry law are stoking fear in the black community.
Several pastors held a news conference yesterday to call for peace after Florida jury's decision clearing Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer, in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin last year.
Some pastors say they’re worried that communities already facing black-on-black crime now must worry that people with concealed weapons will take the law into their own hands, even if there is no real threat.
Governor Pat Quinn spoke on CNN's "State of the Union" program Sunday morning, saying he doesn't like Florida's Stand Your Ground law and that it should be examined.
