Ron Crank

Harrisburg's New Mayor

In Harrisburg, Ron Crank is taking over as Mayor.

The City Commissioner is stepping in for Eric Gregg, who stepped down yesterday.

He was elected in 2011 after the incumbent mayor did not seek re-election. In his short time as mayor, Gregg had to deal with one of the biggest natural disasters of the last decade, the leap-day tornadoes in 2012 that killed 8 and injured over 100 people.

Gregg will make $86,000 per year at his new job, much more than the $800/month salary he received as mayor. He’s leaving to take an appointment from the Governor to the State Prison Review Board.
