Construction Projects Funded



$1.8 million is coming to Southern Illinois for construction projects.
 
Illinois Governor Pat Quinn has announced that the money will be used for infrastructure projects in nine counties.
 
The largest project is $731 thousand dollars to replace the roof at the Anna Veteran’s Home.
 
In Hamilton County, $688 thousand dollars will be used to improve three miles of County Road 500 North from Illinois Route 42 East.
 
And in Massac County, $225 thousand dollars will be used to replace lighting and signs on the I-24 bridge over the Ohio River.
