In Randolph County, the man accused of killing four children in a house fire is fit to stand trial.
The ruling for 33-year-old Derrick Twardoski came yesterday in a status hearing. Randolph County public defender James Kelley previously requested a mental fitness examination for Twardoski.
Twardoski is pleading not guilty to four counts of first-degree murder in the May 10 deaths of four siblings Percy.
Twardoski is due back in court on August 5th for a status hearing.
