Pay-to-Play

Student-Athletes at Marion High School will start paying a new fee to play sports.

Athletes will pay $75-dollars for one sport and $150-dollars for two or more. Families paying the fee for multiple students will pay a maximum of $225-dollars a year.

Students on the free lunch program will be exempt from the programs. The school board shot down an earlier proposal that would’ve cost an extra $25-dollars per sport.
