Energy Water Tower

Energy is one step closer to having its’ own water tower.
Crews lifted the ball on top of the tower yesterday afternoon, and crews will spend the next two weeks prepping the tower before it’s filled with 125,000 gallons of water.
Currently, Energy relies on Herrin for water, but the town will be able to pull its own water from Rend Lake and use it for emergencies once the tower is complete.
