Robbery Sentencing

In Williamson County, a man will see 12 years in prison for robbing a bank.
22-year-old James Terrell Bateman of Marion was sentenced Monday.
The robbery occurred on Dec. 3 at the Mid County Bank on West Boulevard in Marion, when the robber entered the bank around 10:53 a.m. wearing a black ski mask.
The robber left with over $11,000, but since he used a pellet gun instead of a real gun, the charge was aggravated robbery instead of armed robbery, which gives Bateman probation eligibility.
