Today will be business as usual for Marion High School after a lockdown at the school yesterday afternoon.
Principal Steve Smith says the lockdown was a precaution because of a threat a juvenile who doesn’t attend the school made to a student that administrators were informed of late Wednesday morning.
They discussed the threat with the student and decided to lockdown the school around 12:30.
Marion Police Chief John Eibeck says the threat was made yesterday and picked up steam on social media Wednesday.
The 15-year-old who made the threat has been questioned and will face a misdemeanor trespassing charge.
