Toddler Murder



The man who is charged with the murder of a two-year-old is fit to stand trial.
 
24-year-old Jarrod Wayne Rudder was found mentally fit to stand trial for the murder of two-year-old Michael Pulliam after a psychological evaluation.
 
Judge W. Charles Grace set a trial date of May 6th for Rudder, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 29th.
 
Pulliam died April 22nd from an apparent brain injury. According to Jackson County Sheriff’s investigators, Rudder was babysitting the child the night before the murder, in the house they Rudder shared with the child’s mother, Amanda Howell, who was at work.
