The man accused of robbing a convenient store in Murphysboro has turned himself in.

Police say 40-year-old James Weston turned himself in yesterday to police for the robbery at the Amstar Gas Station on Walnut Street Sunday night.

Police say the suspect entered the store and demanded the clerk to hand over money at gunpoint. The clerk refused and the suspect eventually left. No one was injured.
