Quinn Files for Federal Disaster Relief

Illinois Governor Pat Quinn visited Brookport yesterday to open a Multi-Agency Resource Center to help people affected by last week’s tornado get disaster-relief services and information.
The resource center brings together representatives from several local and state agencies in one location.
It is located in Brookport at 306 Crockett, behind the elementary school, and will be open Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The governor also announced that Illinois is applying for federal disaster relief funds for 15 counties – including Massac County - following the tornadoes that struck the state on November 17.
