Event Coordinator
By the time Nancy Skovgaard graduated from SIUC in 2007 with degree in Marketing and she had 5 years of management experience and was serving as the Head Manager of the Karasotes Theatre in Marion. Nancy quickly climbed up the ranks within Kerasotes Showplace Theatres from Southern Illinois to Chicago. Throughout her 9 year career with Karasotes Nancy served as the Training Manager for 6 theatres across Southern Illinois, House Manager in Carbondale and as the Assistant Marketing Coordinator in the Karasotes Chicago Corporate office. From marketing 3 of the top 10 theatres in Chicago to coordinating event-driven marketing for the Niles Centre Mall and implementing movie themed events with children's organizations across the greater Chicago area Nancy put her degree to work. In addition to her love for Broadway theatre, Star Wars and swimming you can almost always find Nancy with her nose in a teen fiction novel, her personal Kryptonite. Currently Nancy is the Event Coordinator for River Radio. Nancy lives in Herrin with her husband Nic and her daughter Ariana.
