In Franklin County, the man accused of shooting and killing a woman in the parking lot of a flower shop will appear in court for a motion hearing today.
A judge is expected to decide if evidence in the case of 39-year-old Donald Lee can be tested in a lab, a process that could possible alter the evidence. Lee was originally set to go to trial September 10th, but the public defender withdrew from the case. Lee now has two new lawyers, Bryan Drew and T.J. Parrish.
He is accused of killing Brittany Andrews in the parking lot of Vickee’s Card Shop in Benton on May 17th.
According to online records, Lee will appear for a final pre-trial on September 26th and a jury trial is set for October 8th.
