In Mounds, the Meridian Elementary School Board is considering a couple options to battle growing mold in the school.
Meridian Elementary is closed due to the mold, although officials say that air tests were clean and no students were affected.
The school board could move the school to a different location, or renovate the entire building. Officials say the renovation could cost anywhere from 1-to-3 million dollars.
The options will be discussed at next week’s school board meeting.
