A woman from Christopher died after her car flew nearly 60 feet in the air near the town of Buckner.
20-year-old Brooke Brown died in the accident that occurred at 5:26 in the morning Saturday at the intersection of Lincoln Road and Izaac Walton Road north of Buckner.
According to Franklin County Coroner Marty Leffler, Brown was traveling at a high rate of speed when her car lost control and left the ground, eventually flipping and coming to a stop on its’ roof. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is still under investigation, but Leffler says alcohol and drug paraphernalia were found in the car.
