A Perry County man is now $4 million richer.
Bob Byntar won the prize from the Illinois Lottery after buying a $20 Gold Bullion scratch-off ticket in Du Quoin. He says he will use the money to keep his ice cream shop that he opened with his wife. His wife died three years ago, and now Byntar runs the shop with his daughter.
Byntar has won money from the Illinois Lottery before. In 2008, he won $100,000 playing the Little Lotto, which is now known as the Lucky Day Lotto.
He will receive $200,000 per year for the next 20 years before taxes.
