Two people from Fairfield are dead after a fire in Wayne County.
42-year-old Steven Milner and 43-Sherry-Fulcher died in the fire on the 700 block of South West 5th Street in Fairfield.
The Illinois Fire Marshall and State Police believe the fire originated in the kitchen, but they are still investigating the incident.
