CHICAGO (AP) - It is not likely that election night Chicago will look anything like what happened on election night four years ago when about a quarter million people descended on Grant Park to witness President Barack Obama's historic victory speech.
But it won't be just another Tuesday night, either.
While President Obama is planning to have a private party for supporters in McCormick Place, just outside the massive convention center there will be an immigration rights march and vigil.
City officials have not made any announcements about events at public spaces in the downtown area. CNN is talking to state officials about putting up a jumbo TV screen in the plaza of the Thompson Center for a viewing party.
