A man from Marion barely escaped injuries in a single-car crash Saturday in Johnson County.

Joshua Martin was traveling north, about three-quarters of a mile south of Ill. Rt. 146, when he ran off the road into some loose gravel.

Martin then lost control of his 2007 Ford Mustang and it flipped over. He managed to climb out of the vehicle unharmed.

Martin was the only person in the car and no citations were issued.
