Union County officials have announced the two women found dead in a house fire in Cairo were shot to death. Beatrice Barber, 29, of Cairo and Eva Hill, 27, of Charleston, Missouri were found shot to death after a fire early Monday morning in a house on 27th Street in Cairo.
The bodies themselves were found burned but the flame damage to the house is minimal.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Union County Sheriff's office or the Cairo Police Department.
