A man trying to flee the police while already in custody will see more time behind bars.
Mark Cole, 40, of Anna has been sentenced to seven years for trying to escape from Union County Sheriff’s Deputies in October. He was in custody for retail theft and was being transported from a court appearance when he tried to flee.
Cole already faces six years in prison for retail theft.
