Attorney General Lisa Madigan is suing a marketing firm that is accused of swindling money from businesses to be apart of advertising involving the Saluki men’s basketball team.
The Eagle Marketing Group LLC is the defendant in the suit filed in Jackson County Circuit Court.
They are accused of asking businesses for more than $300 to be featured in 2012 team schedule the company was never authorized to make in the first place.
They’re also accused of promising TV airtime to businesses that never aired.
