A pre-trial hearing was held this morning for Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth who is accused of wrongful termination, silencing a whistleblower, and approving inaccurate performance reviews.
However, I and other reporters were told by Judge Boie the hearing had been handled quote “through a telephone conversation”.
Through further investigation by speaking to the State’s Attorney’s Office, this is a civil case and will be handled through the Clerk’s Office.
Duckworth’s next court date is a motion hearing on December 21st, 2015 at 10am.
