An Anna man will see prison time for beating another man to death.
35-year old Jessie Bell was sentenced to 20 years in a state prison for the beating death of James Morrison.
20 years is the maximum sentence allowed under the law for 2nd-degree murder, which is also a class 1 felony.
Bell was arrested in April 2014. He was found guilty in May 2015 by a Union County Jury.
