CENTRALIA, IL. — Nathan Johnson, the man at the center of a police shoot-out and high speed chase has been formally charged.

The 41-year-old faces two counts of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm, and one count of aggravated battery.

Police say Johnson shot at officers from the Du Quoin and Centralia Police Departments and led police on chase through two counties. He eventually surrendered after a short stand-off. No one was injured.
